I’m actually wearing a skirt, what? I know, it’s so unlike me. I have very short stumpy legs and most of the time I like to keep them locked away in jeans. However, I got this skirt from Forever 21 and I absolutely love it, it has distressed hems and patches on it, with a button down front. Overall, it fits me really well, especially for someone whose 5ft and every skirt/dress I buy is basically touching the floor, this is a really good fit.
I decided to pair it with an oversized shirt, also from Forever 21, as I thought the two together went very well. A shirt gives any outfit a more professional look but, by rolling the sleeves up you get more of a relaxed feel again. This is basically what I was going for with this outfit and both items, denim and a shirt will never go out of style so, this can be worn whenever you want! (If you live in England you may only get a couple of weeks through out the year, but hey ho haha)
The main part of this outfit for me is the shoes, which is the POP of colour I was referring to in the title. They are a beautiful Orange colour with a suede finish. Mules are everywhere this season and are so comfy to wear, especially for people (like me) who don’t want to wear heels all the time to add something special to their outfit. You can also add the pop of colour is other accessories like, your bag or jewellery. I decided to go with my shoes because, when I saw them on BooHoo’s website I had to have them and wear them with every outfit!
There are some more pictures featuring this outfit below. I just wanted to add one more thing, I really hope you got the Shaina Twain joke in the title because who doesn’t love Shaina Twain? haha, if you liked this blog post make sure to leave a comment below! Thanks for reading
