Skincare Routine; Doing it the Clinique Way

Clinique more than moisture set

Recently, I’ve been really into taking care of my skin. I mean who doesn’t want nice hydrated & healthy skin? Especially if you are like me, and have unbelievable dry skin, this Clinique more than moisture set will be a life saver! Clinique is one of these brands I see in boots every time I go in, and never buy anything from. I have no idea why this is the case, I previously bought a foundation from them and loved it! But, for some reason it’s not a brand that I’m drawn to, maybe that’s due to the price (It is quite expensive…).

However, Clinique is very well known for their skincare products, they have such a large variety which cater to a lot of different people needs. This is an amazing thing for people who suffer from different problems, such as having oily and sensitive skin. For me, its dry and flaky skin (Sounds disgusting, right?). and it’s so much worse in the winter, that’s why I decided to pick this set up now instead of the summer months.

Within the set, you get 4 products, which aren’t full sized but, you do get a reasonable amount in each. You get; The moisture surge overnight mask, moisture surge hydrating supercharged concentrate, moisture surge extended thirst relief and the chubby stick moisturizing lip colour balm.

Where to buy!

Clinique More Than Moisture

Moisture Surge Overnight Mask

First of the products from the Clinique more than moisture set is, the moisture surge overnight mask. From the name, you can probably guess that this is used after you take off your makeup. For the best results from this product, you’ll want to take off your makeup properly, I use Micellar Cleansing Water and a Milk Cleanser (… My full Skincare Routine Here…) to make sure everything is off my face. After I have done this, I will go in with the thirst relief as it says you can use it day and night, and let that soak in. Then, I will go in with the overnight mask, I only use a small amount because less is more with these products. Once you have it on, you can really see the difference. In my case, my face looks a lot more hydrated and is ready for the morning.

Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate

Now this is the product that made me buy this set in the first place, I have seen many people rave about this moisturizer and I just had to get it! Did it live up to my expectations? You bet it did! I do love this product, it is something that I would happily repurchase once I run out. The way I use this product is very similar to the overnight mask, I wash my face, exfoliate, use the thirst relief, then apply a small amount of the supercharged concentrate. I can defiantly see a difference through using this, and I would very much recommend it as well.

Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

Lastly, we have the extended thirst relief, which is an instant hydration mask that sinks in to your face almost instantly. I do really enjoy this product, it does what it claims to, and that’s all I can ask for really. I’ve explained previously on how I use this product so there’s no need on explain again. However, I could probably live without this mask, and if I wasn’t going to buy the set I would probably save my money on this.

As you can probably tell I am missing out the chubby lip balm, I don’t think anyone needs a review on a lip balm, it does its job but, I wouldn’t go out my way to buy a Clinique one, when you can get lip balms which are equally/better for a lot less.

However, all in all, I am 100% happy with my purchase. I would defiantly pick one of these bad boys out, especially as buying this set will save you a lot of money as if you were to buy everything separately it would cost a small fortune. I would love to hear your thoughts on the Clinique more than moisture set if you have tried it!

Until next time x

Skin care is also super important to me as well it’s just a shame that my skin is so sensitive I can’t use anything like this and I need special seaweed products from the body shop to stop it breaking out 🙁 xx

The moisturiser looks so good! I have combination skin so I don’t need a super heavy moisturiser but this one does sound incredible! Great review post babe xx
